Northwestern Ontario and Northern Minnesota
Crimestoppers has seen a 25% increase in tips during the
2004-2005 year.
Coordinator Gary Potter says since 2003, 3.5 million
dollars worth of illegal drugs have been seized with the
help of the Crimestopper’s program.

Since the program’s inception they’ve had over 14
thousand calls, and laid almost 2 thousand charges.
Crimestopper’s volunteers are now going door to door
selling discount coupons, money raised will go towards
administrative costs and tips.
