A former Manitoba resident is doing a marathon bike ride to raise awareness for a rare form of bone cancer.
Shane Saunderson stopped in Dryden this week as part of his Prairie Pedal for Myeloma Canada.
Saunderson says he’s cycling from Calgary to Toronto to raise awareness of the disease.
He says he’s raised about $25,000 so far and is hoping to raise at least another $10,000 before he hits Toronto in early September.
