The Smart Car is growing in popularity and a group of the car owners
has embarked on a cross-country tour to raise money for the Bruce Denniston
Bone Marrow Society.
The relay team will be collecting pledges at the Dryden Tourist Centre
on Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock.
The 10,000 kilometre tour is also meant to promote the safety and
environmental benefits of the pint size vehicles.
Close to 200 cars are involved in the Canada-wide trip.
