The Wintson Motor Hotel in Pickle Lake has until next Thursday to pay a
nearly $27,000 water and sewer bill.
General Manager Boris Kravet says he’s installed a water meter to prove
he’s only using 3% of the communities water.

Kravet says he will gladly pay for his usage but notes the Town
won’t budge and has threatened to disconnect his service in a week.
The Winston is the only Hotel, Restaurant and Bar in Pickle Lake and
Kravet says the high cost of water, sewer and taxes is killing business in
the community.
