A 39-year-old man is travelling across Canada on foot in memory of his late father.
Ian Bos is hoping to get to Victoria, B.C. in the fall and he will be stopping in Dryden.
Bos says his Dad, Ted loved the outdoors and that’s why he decided to make the long trek.
He’s travelling alone and on foot with nothing but a backpack and a cell phone.
A public event is being held Friday at the Best Western starting at 10:00am.
Local residents are urged to attend and hear his story about his father’s experiences.
