Teenagers from 12-remote Northern First Nation communities will
participate in Northern Eagle Cultural Days starting Thursday.
The 2-day event is meant to give students attending the Ear Falls
High School a chance to take part in activities relevant to the Treaty area.
Trapping demonstrations, survival skills training, snowshoe races and
bannock making contests are among the events planned.
The OPP, Friendship Centre staff, elders and the Municipality are all
involved in the inaugural event.
