Curling Tournament Raises Money For Health Center

Last weekend’s curling tournament in Sioux Lookout raised 58 thousand dollars.
The Bearskin Airlines Skip to Equip Curling Classic drew in participants from the municipality as well as Dryden, Pickle Lake, Red Lake and Thunder Bay.
53 thousand dollars has been donated to the Meno-Ya-Win Health Center for their mammography program, and 5 thousand dollars has also been donated to the Sioux Lookout Golf and Curling Club.
The 3rd annual curling classic is scheduled to take place from November 8-10, 2013.
