Dangerous Offender Released In Area Community

A warning has been issued to residents in the Whitedog First Nation area.
Treaty 3 Police say a high risk offender has been released into their community and he’s at risk of re-offending.
Police say 44-year-old Danny Lee Michaud has previous conditions of failing to comply with a probation order, break and enter, carrying a concealed weapon, pointing a firearm, aggravated assault, sexual assault and manslaughter.
Police say Michaud has a long list of conditions he must comply with, including reporting to Treaty Three Police every Friday.
