The Kenora Stars are in the win column at the National Midget Hockey Championships in Kenora.
Sioux Lookout’s Tyler Gordon made 31 saves as the Stars knocked off the Cornwall Thunder 5-2 Tuesday night to improve to 1-1.
Red Lake based players fared well as Garrett Kocis recorded 3 assists and Sean Bassingthwaite added a goal.
Dan MacInytre of Sioux Lookout also notched an assist.
