Taxes are going up in Dryden.
Council has approved the 2004 Budget with a 6% yax increase.
Finance Committee Chair Brian Collins says the hike can be blamed on 3 outside agencies levelling large increases in their charges to municipalities.
The Northwestern Health Unit, Kenora District Services Board and Homes for the Aged all ordered hikes
There will be some user fee increases as well, including sewer and water, daycare, arena rentals and garbage bag tags.
There are no job lossess or service cuts planned in the budget.
