De-Icing Program Will be Expanded

The Ministry of Transportation plans to start up its road de-icing
program in Northwestern Ontario starting next week.
The Province has been experimenting with the liquid instead of using
salt on Highway 17 between Dryden and the Manitoba border.
Max Perchanok says results have been pretty good to date.
Perchanok says they plan to expand the de-icing trial into the
Thunder Bay area this winter.
