It was a tragic long weekend in northwestern Ontario.
An 8-year-old boy died in Rushing River Provincial Park.
The boy was reported missing Saturday night and following a large scale search, he was later found dead in the park on Sunday morning.
No other information has been released.
Meantime, Provincial Police in Nipigon say a 33-year-old Marathon man died in a All-Terrain Vehicle collision.
Police say the man was travelling on a bush road east of Little Sturge Lake when he encountered another vehicle on a corner.
He lost control and left the road.
OPP say there was no evidence of impairment and the driver was wearing the required safety equipment.
