Rain over the long weekend has reduced the fire hazard to low across most of northwestern Ontario.
The one exception is in the Red Lake area, where the hazard is moderate.
That’s the only region that saw forest fire activity over the Victoria Day long weekend.
Two blazes were reported but both are now listed as under control.
