Decision Day For Ontario PC’s

The Ontario Progressive Conservatives will name an interim leader Friday to replace Patrick Brown, who stepped down Thursday in light of sexual misconduct allegations against him.

A caucus meeting is being held to make that decision.

Co-Deputy Leader Steve Clark says they are still confident of winning the upcoming election.

Clark says when they are done the process, they will be a strong and united party that can win the June election.

Sylvia Jones is the other Co-Deputy Leader and she echoes Clark’s comments.

Jones says they are so far ahead in planning, nominations and fundraising and stresses they have the plan in place to succeed in 2018.

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli is among those who’ve already expressed interest in the job, not only interim, but as a permanent leader.
