Delta Hotels Setting Up Shop In Thunder Bay

A new look is coming to Thunder Bay’s revamped waterfront.
Delta Hotels and Resorts has announced the construction of a four star hotel with 150 rooms and 18-penthouse suites.
Officials say the hotel will open in 2014 and will result in $1-million in property taxes for the City of Thunder Bay.
It will also create 110-new jobs.
The hotel is part of the waterfront development project.
A majority of the rooms will provide unobstructed views of Lake Superior and Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
