Fires Continue To Burn; Crews Contain Kenora Fire

The Ministry of Natural Resources says the forest fire rating is extremely high across the region.
High winds are not helping the nine new fires that were reported yesterday alone.
One fire forced the closure of Valleyview school in Kenora near the town’s water tower.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze and road closures in the area have now been lifted.
The cause is under investigation.
