Dennis Leney Sioux Lookout Mayor Profile

Dennis Leney is seeking a second term as Mayor of Sioux Lookout.
Leney says they have accomplished a lot but notes he wants to see some projects through.
He notes he’s pushing for the completion of the 96-bed long term care home.
Leney says that project is before three provincial ministers.
He also wants to land a Remand Centre and a Youth Detention Centre.
Leney says they want to attract new businesses and continue to go after the mining industry.
He says they are expecting to announce two new retail stores coming to Sioux Lookout in the next couple of months.
Leney is hoping the new Council is on the same wave length to move the community forward.
