Details Surrounding Bearskin Intent to Purchase

A fixture in the Northwestern Ontario Airline industry is about to change hands.
Winnipeg-based Exchange Income has signed a letter of intent to acquire Bearskin Airlines for $32.5-million.
Bearskin President Harvey Friesen says the timing was right.
He says Exchange made them an offer and both sides negotiated back and forth.
Friesen notes given the fact the Company is 47-year’s-old, he figured it was time to move on and create some more stability for staff and customers.
No changes in staffing or service are expected and the deal is expected to close around December 1st.
Friesen will also stay on in current capacity.
Exchange owns and operates CalmAir, Perimeter Air and Keewatin Air.
