Devlin Sawmill Closing

Another blow to the Northwestern Ontario economy.
The Devlin Timber Sawmill in Kenora is closing down in under 8-weeks
time because of high operating costs and the struggling softwood lumber
industry.
The closure effects 30 full-time employees.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is calling on the Provincial
Government to release a plan to help Northern Ontario’s forestry industry.
