Community partners will join the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board on Saturday for a big celebration.
Dryden High School is hosting the “Free Family Fun Fair”.
The event was first held in April, 2016, with more than 1,000 people participating.
Sheena Valley says the goal is to promote Dryden area schools, programs and school board services.
Valley says it’s also an opportunity to recognize organizations who help in the daily operation of their schools.
The street in front of DHS will be closed for a barbeque, street hockey game, face painting, games, live music, fire trucks and other activities.
Inside DHS, there will be 40-tables and booths with information and giveaway’s.
Partners at the event will include the Dryden Fire Service, Public Library, Northwestern Health Unit, Dryden Police, Domtar and FIREFLY.
The event runs from 11:00am-2:00pm.
