It appears more and more youth in the Dryden area are starting to get the message about the dangers of drinking and driving.
Students at Dryden High School were asked to complete a survey following a recent presentation on impaired driving and nearly 96% responded they plan to make safer choices.
72% felt they knew more about the hazards of alcohol and drug use as well as other risky behaviour.
94% of the students stated they would try to stop a friend whose behaviour could hurt themselves or others.
83% indicated they will always try to make a plan for everyone to get home safely when out with friends.
