Diesels/Bearcats Advance In SIJHL

The Schreiber Diesels and Thunder Bay Bearcats are into the Semi-Finals after game 3 wins Saturday night. The Schreiber Diesels finished off the Fort Frances Jr. Sabres in a surprising 3 game sweep 5-4 in Fort Frances. The Diesels will now meet the first place Dryden Ice Dogs in the next round. No details on when the series will start in Dryden. In other action the Bearcats swept past the Thunder Bay Bulldogs with a 2-0 win in the afternoon to book their match-up with the Fort William North Stars.
