Group Wants Ban on Bear Baiting

An animal rights group is calling on the Prime Minister to ban bear
baiting.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has released a graphic
video showing hunters baiting bears with barrels of food.
Spokesperson Nicole Matthews says they hope to change the way Canadians
think about hunting.
Matthews says the practice is barbaric and inhumane.
Matthews says the bears are usually shot multiple times before they die
or escape with serious wounds.
