A new Dinner Theatre series is coming to Dryden.
Irene Skene and Marj Salavich have come together to form the Sunset Thespians theatre group.
Skene was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday and she says they are working with Mike Readman, the Manager of the Best Western Plus.
Skene says the focus will be on comedies, making people laugh, stressing that “laughter really is the best medicine”.
Each show will come with a three course meal with dessert, at a price of only $40.
Skene and Salavich come with combined years of artistic, creative and theatrical experience along with a local history of successful productions.
Readman has been looking at a Dinner Theatre concept for some time now.
The first performance is “The Outrageous Adventures of Sheldon and Mrs. Levine” and it’s scheduled for September 28th and 29th.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00pm until 4:30pm and 5:30pm until 9:00pm at the Sunset Room at the Best Western Plus.
