Director Of Education Pleased With ETFO Decision

The Director of Education at the Keewatin Patricia District School Board is happy that extra-curriculars could be returning to public elementary schools.
Jack McMaster says whether its band, drama or sports, the students are able to develop a lot of skills that will serve them into adulthood.
McMaster adds there is no end to the benefit kids get from the activities.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario made the decision Tuesday night to lift the ban on extra-curriculars and allow teachers to decide if they want to participate in the activities.
