Disaster Relief Programs Established.

The Provincial Government is establishing a regional committee for the Rainy River District along with Ignace and Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls to help victims of the flood-ravaged region.
Atikokan Township Manager Warren Paulson says Atikokanites will be able to access information at the Municipal office even though the committee is based in Fort Frances.
Paulson says the Township will do whatever it can to help residents who were affected by floodwaters.
Paulson says the Ontario Disaster Relief Program will only cover essential not already insured.
He suggests residents contact their insurance agents to find out what kind of coverage they already have to cover damages.
