Some 80 residents of Whitedog First Nation are back home after being evacuated last Thursay.
The children, elders and those with breathing difficulties were forced to leave due to heavy smoke from a lightning caused fire about 23-kilometres north of the community.
The blaze is now nearly 11,000 hectares in size but doesn’t threat the community.
160 fire fighters have been committed to the fire and are making good progress thanks in part to rain in the area.
