The Dryden and District Museum has an extra pair of hands thanks to a one year internship.
Natalie Nachtman is the new Archival Coordinator, a position that’s funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
Nachtman will organize archives at the Museum and will be responsible for cataloguing and storing items.
She will also work on developing a historical database on Dryden, its history and its people.
Nachtman says she will be interviewing a number of people to get the database started.
Before arriving in Dryden, Nachtman was an intern for another Museum in Huron County.
She was in charge of school programs at the southern Ontario facility.
Nachtman says she has been enjoying her stay in Dryden so far.
