Local golfers got together this past weekend to raise more than $5,400 for Dryden Memorial Arena upgrades.
The Dryden Recreation Extension and Modification Golf Tournament attracted 14 teams in its inaugural year.
Marnie Oliphant was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday and she says all money raised will go towards the construction of new dressing rooms.
Oliphant calls the Tournament a major success, noting everyone had a lot of fun.
She says they have found areas of improvement and have gathered all of the feedback and she promises that next years event will be bigger and better.
