Disturbing Case of Animal Cruelty

A Thunder Bay man is facing charges of animal cruelty after a dog was stabbed and left tied to a tree earlier this month.
A passerby was alerted by his own dog to an injured 6-month-old dog tied to a tree in a wooded area.
Police believe the injured female dog was stabbed in the side with a large knife.
Investigation led police to arrest 29-year-old Karl Bartinski, who had been staying with the dog’s owners.
