The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is updating a warning issued on Oct. 10 urging the public not to eat no name brand all-purpose flour.
The product may contain excessively high levels of folic acid, iron, niacin, riboflavin and thiamine.
The CFIA says there have been four reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product.
The affected product, no name brand all-purpose flour, sold in 2.5 kg bags bearing lot codes beginning with 125J and UPC 0 60383 01375 2.
This product has only been distributed in Ontario to the following stores: No Frills, Cash and Carry, Freshmart, Fortinos, Zehrs, Real Canadian Superstore, Loblaws, Independents, Valu-Mart and Your Independent Grocer.
