One of Northwestern Ontario’s most recognized painters will be
featured Thursday night in the CBC Documentary ‘Life and Times’ of Norval
Morrisseau
The biography looks into the aspects of Morrisseau’s life that have
never been discussed publicly.
Morrisseau moved to Cochenour in 1959 where he worked at the Gold
Mine and went door to door selling his art work.
The show also describes how the famous painter went through periods
of fame and riches and then through times of substance abuse and poverty.
The Documentary airs Thursday night on CBC at 6 o’clock.
