Officials say repairs will be done in the spring to a damaged bridge
linking Northwestern Ontario and Minnesota.
The International Bridge in Rainy River was damaged last week
when a truck hauling logging equipment sheared a girder on the Canadian
side.
But the Ministry of Transportation says the bridge is still safe.
M-T-O regional manager Larry Lambert says engineer inspections
have determined the bridge can handle all legal highway loads.
