Dogs Knock Off Lakers on Home Ice

A fine team performance by the Dryden Ice Dogs Wednesday night at the Memorial Arena.
The Dogs skated to a 2-1 win over the Fort Frances Lakers.
Tyson Holder scored on a beautiful individual effort with 4 seconds left to play in the first to give Dryden the lead and Ryan Lobreau scored into an empty net in the third.
Dean Shepherdson was 5 seconds away from a shut-out when Blake Boaz ruined things.
Shepherdson finished with 34 saves.
