It was a sweep of American teams for the Dryden Ice Dogs over the weekend.
The Dogs defeated Duluth 4-1 Friday before knocking off Wisconsin 2-1 on Saturday.
Dryden’s Ryan Lobreau was the story on Friday with a goal and two assists.
Thomas Greene, Brendan Wertanen and Jon Mitchell also found the back of the net.
On Saturday, Ben McLellan and Jon Mitchell scored on the powerplay to lead the Dogs over the Wilderness.
Ian Perrier was solid both games making a total of 47 saves.
Wisconsin was coming off a 3-2 victory over the Sioux Lookout Flyers Friday.
Both Flyer’s goals came from Colten Brule and both were on the power play.
Elsewhere, the Fort Francs Lakers doubled Fort William Northstars 4 -2.
