The Dryden Dolphins Swim Club is boasting about the strength of its program in the midst of an uncertain future for the Dryden Pool.
The facility is one of many in the City under the microscope as staff look to find $4-million in savings.
Dolphins Communication Chair John Vincent says they are celebrating their 10th anniversary and says the program is a fantastic learning tool.
He says swimming is something you keep with you for the rest of your life and stressed the importance of keeping the pool fully operational.
The Dolphins program has 30 to 40 youth registered and Vincent says they are always looking for more to keep the program strong.
The ages range from 6 to 17.
The Dolphins Swim Club is marking its anniversary with a Swim Meet this weekend.
Youth swimmers from across the region are scheduled to attend.
Swimming starts at 9 o’clock Saturday and continues Sunday.
The event is open to the public and Vincent is encouraging folks to learn more about what their program is all about.
