The Women’s Place in Kenora is receiving $100,000 in funding from the Province to help curb domestic violence.
The money is meant to get area youth, parents and other adults involved in working on strategies to reduce violence against women.
The Minister Responsible for Women’s Issues Sandra Pupatello says the funding is a step in right direction.
