DRHC Not Concerned With New Law

A new law that requires Hospitals to notify Police when patients arrive with gunshot wounds won’t have much impact on the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Officials at the facility say they will be happy to comply with the new law but are quick to point out the only cases of gunshot wounds they see is with hunting accidents.
Private facilities, such as walk-in clinics and family practices are exempt from the legislation that is the first of its kind in Canada.
