Domtar And Dryden Clean Up Lions Park

Lions Park has been cleaned-up thanks to a coordinated effort from volunteers and families from the Domtar Mill, the Student Conservation Association, City of Dryden and community members.

More than 60-individuals took a couple of hours out of their daily schedule Saturday to revitalize the popular park adjacent to Dryden High School.

Participants removed garbage as well as branches, brush and other debris.

Domtar Public Affairs Manager Bonny Skene says they have a longstanding relationship with Dryden High School and adds they are pleased to partner with the City to ensure that Lions Park is safe, accessible and enjoyable for the community.

The City has deemed the Park as a priority area for the community.
