A unique partnership is linking literacy to those in need in the Dryden area.
Domtar has once again partnered with First Book Canada to bring books and educational tools to local families.
Two organizations have benefited from the program; Dryden Christmas Cheer and the Kenora District Services Board.
Christmas Cheer was able to purchase numerous books to be incorporated into every hamper they produce this year, ensuring every child in their program receives a brand new book.
The KDSB was able to acquire books and educational resources that will support literacy and help remove learning barriers for children.
The items will also be incorporated into the KDSB life skills sessions and program delivery.
