The Sandy Beach Ball Diamonds protected play structure is getting some extra funding from Domtar.
The company is being thanked for a $6,000 donation.
Previously, Domtar also came forward with $5,000 for the initial upgrades at the complex.
Dryden Ball Diamonds Committee President Angie Berrey says the company has been by their side for the whole ride and her group couldn’t be happier.
Meantime, Dryden Minor Softball is taking over fundraising efforts for the playground.
There is still some money that needs to be raised to complete a commitment by the Committee.
Berrey is thanking Minor Softball for their willingness to help as well as the volunteers and individuals who helped with the ball diamond upgrades.
The play structure has been a huge hit since it was installed, with high usage from both ball players and their families but for members of the general public.
