It’s outdoor fun for everyone.
The 14th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic has been scheduled for July 16th at Sandy Beach Park in Dryden.
Organizer Jenn Barton was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday and she says they are facing a bit of a financial pinch this year.
Barton says they are now seeking donations and support from local charities, businesses and community organizations.
She stresses financial support allows them to offer the event to children free of charge.
Barton adds the event continues to grow in participant numbers.
She notes there will be several activities including crafts, a Teddy Bear Hospital, Teddy Bear contest and minnow catching.
