A pair of solid performances on home ice has resulted in SIJHL Player of the Week honours for Thunder Bay North Stars goalie Dougie Newhouse.
The 18-year-old from Thunder Bay made 22-saves in a win over Fort Frances and another 42 in an overtime victory over Dryden GM.
Newhouse joined the North Stars in October.
Ice Dogs forward Evan Walls also received consideration.
