Dryden Swimmers Impressive In Thunder Bay

A number of personal best times were set by members of the Dryden Dolphins Swim team at a meet this past weekend in Thunder Bay.

15 young swimmers, being coached by Jason Owen, competed in the 2017 Northwest Narwhal Allstate Invitational.

Gabe Adams won gold in the 200-metre Individual Medley, while Fiona Cook took home silver in the 50-metre breast stroke.

Gideon Adams won bronze in the 100-metre Fly.

Here are some of the results:

Gabe Adams: placed first in the 200m IM

Gideon Adams: placed third in the 100m fly

Jordyn Chwastyk: placed sixth in the 100m IM, reducing her time by 4.24s

Fiona Cook: placed second in the 50m breast, reducing her time by 2.31s

Kylee Huckell: placed ninth in the 100m free, reducing her time by 10.46s

Ethan Keen: placed ninth in the 50m back, reducing his time by 24.49s

Teanna MacKay: placed 21st in the 100m free, reducing her time by 42s

Bennett McLeod: placed 18th in the 100m free, reducing her time by 11.36s

Adam Millard: placed ninth in the 50m free, reducing his time by 7.40s

Taylor Millard: placed 34th in the 50m free, reducing her time by 2.63s

Ella Morris: placed sixth in the 200m free, reducing her time by 19.49s

Victoria Owen: placed fifth in the 100m IM, reducing her time by 3.80s

Maggie Pareis: placed 26th in the 100m free, reducing her time by 11.66s

Joella Robinson: placed seventh in the 200m back

Brooke Young: placed 15th in the 50m free, reducing her time by 16.71s
