The Dryden Downtown Enhancement Committee, the group dedicated to improving the look of the downtown core, has received great support from the community.
The committee has received funding from Dryden City Council, Weyerhaeuser, and almost 15-thousand dollars from downtown businesses to act on several recommendations.
The committee has also applied for provincial grants.
Although no improvements will be made this summer, the group hopes to add trees and signage next year.
