Dr. Gagnon Receives Council Award

Top honours for a local physician.
Dr. Yvon Gagnon has received the Council Award by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Gagnon is the founder of the Points North Family Health Team in Vermilion Bay.
In an e-mail to the CKDR Newsroom, Dr. Gagnon stressed it’s a very humbling honour.
He says he truly enjoys his practice and being part of a fantastic health care community.
Dryden Regional Health Centre CEO Wade Petranik says that Gagnon has continually demonstrated compassion and concern for the health and well-being of all patients.
Petranik says he has been a leader in providing timely and quality primary care for area residents.
