The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has a draft design for Dryden’s new elementary school.
The design will include 4-kindergarten rooms, 12-regular classrooms, art room, drama room, music room and a double gym.
It will also include 2-computer labs, an Native Second Language room and a special education room.
Superintendent of Business Dean Carrie says the new school will have room for 460 pupils, compared 600 in their initial design.
Carrie says they hope to have the project ready for tender by the end of June and would like to start construction by August.
