A prime example of the effectiveness of a taser.
Dryden Police were called to the downtown area Tuesday night to investigate a report of someone waving around an axe or a hammer.
The accused was located on Kirkpatrick Avenue and officers noticed a hammer concealed in his sleeve.
The 21-year-old was told to drop the weapon but he failed to comply.
He had a quick change of heart though, when a a taser was drawn.
Police say the man was intoxicated and he was lodged for the night.
