The Dryden Recreation Extension and Modification Committee is thanking the community for their support in the recent Aviva Fund on-line competition.
The group fell short in its goal of advancing to round two of the funding pool.
Spokesperson Janice Radburn says the initiative did a lot of good.
She says they received tremendous support and it got their project on the radar in Dryden.
Marnie Oliphant agrees noting not a lot of people knew what the DREAM Committee is trying to do.
She stresses fundraising for arena upgrades will continue.
