Both the Dryden and Wabigoon Fire Services are urging motorists to be extra attentive when hitting the road this Summer as wildlife tend to migrate closer to the road.
The latest incident was reported Sunday morning around 10 o’clock when firefighters and ambulance personnel were called to a collision involving a motorcycle and a deer.
Officials say the driver was ejected from his bike into the south ditch.
Passing motorists came to the aid of the driver before he was transported to Dryden Hospital with injuries.
